Male groups like The Temptations, The Four Tops and The Ojays dominated the charts in the 70’s & 80’s and paved the way for the boy bands of today with music that has spanned decades. The era produced sensational girl groups such as The Marvelettes, The Vandellas and The Supremes. Colin Roy is a highly acclaimed London West End star and international singer-songwriter. After being spotted by the casting director for the Lion King, Colin began a successful career in London’s West End theatre. Colin Roy is an exceptionally experienced performer encompassing theatre, radio, television and voice-over work, the headline act for various cruise companies as well as his own produced theatre shows and has received world-wide success

Colin began his music career sharing the stage with Shaggy after his self-penned hit single My Destiny received widespread recognition and was playlisted on Kiss FM UK and Capital FM London. Colin Roy’s distinctive voice can be heard on several albums including The House That Nat Built from his self-penned one man show about the incomparable Nat King Cole, Colin Roy Live In London and the Hair 25^th Year Revival Cast Album that was recorded at Abbey Road Studio in London.

Colin has been to entertain us at the Club several times previously and we are delighted to welcome him back. Since last visiting us 14 years ago his popularity has soared and he is much in demand. We have therefore booked him for a Friday night and would strongly suggest you get your tickets early for this highly acclaimed singer.
